Waltsco has had the opportunity to work with a client who was struggling with unprofitable and costly Amazon ads. The client had previously received consulting from an “Amazon agent,” but they were still unsure of what was happening within their account. This led to a negative experience and caution towards using ads.

To address the client’s concerns, Waltsco immediately performed an account audit, shutting off bleeding campaigns and negating irrelevant keywords. We custom-built new campaigns based on any previous data of bids and keywords that showed promise. We also expanded into sponsored brands and display ads to increase the client’s reach.

Additionally, we took high-performing keywords and re-built their listings by adding these into the title, bullets, A+ content, and back-end search terms to help with organic ranking. By optimizing the client’s product listings, we were able to improve their overall visibility and sales.

Results:

As a result of our efforts, we were able to quadruple the ad sales while maintaining a TACOS (Total Advertising Cost of Sales) of less than 11% within the first three months of working in the account. This success has gained the trust of the client, and we are now running their entire portfolio of Amazon ads, providing them with peace of mind knowing their PPC is being looked after and is well within their budgeting parameters.
